Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been invited by the University of Oxford to deliver a lecture in June next year, as announced by Jonathan Michie, the pro-vice-chancellor. The invitation was extended at the Bengal Global Business Summit, where Amit Mitra, principal chief adviser to the CM, facilitated the announcement. Emphasizing Banerjee's reflections on life, her struggles, and her stances on anti-racism and communal harmony, Michie expressed that the university is eager to hear her speak on these topics, with a focus on anti-racism and women empowerment.
